Choose from:
Deep Tissue Massage:
Deep tissue massage is a deep, firm therapy that utilizes techniques that
release chronic pain and muscle tension. This type of massage aims to
manipulate fascia and connective tissue and will be more intense than
other forms of massage. We recommend clients first experience a milder
form of massage to gauge their tolerance to deep work.
Sports Massage:
Sports massage gives specific attention to deeper muscles and connective tissue
for relief of chronic tension and pain which results from over-use, athletic
training or chronic stress. A combination of techniques are used here;
deep tissue, Swedish massage and sports stretching, to reduce soreness,
lengthen muscles, restore range of motion, and to enable you to relax
and face your next active day revitalised.
Swedish Massage:
The classic Swedish
massage involves gentle to moderate pressure with long relaxing rolling
strokes using oil which relaxes tense or spasmic muscles, increases joint
range of motion, soothes the nervous system, reduces swelling and assists
in removal of toxins from the tissues. Very therapeutic as well as great
for stress relief.
Aromatherapy Massage:
Aromatherapy massage combines swedish massage techniques with the proven effectiveness of pure essential aromatherapy oils. Choose from a full range of oils to suit your mood, or need.Indian Head Massage
Indian Head massage
includes massage of the shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp, face, ears
and energy balancing. It is a wonderfully relaxing therapy, and can provide
relief from aches and pains, stress symptoms, insomnia, promote hair growth,
soothe, comfort and rebalance your energy flow which gives you a deep
sense of peace, calm and tranquillity.
Thai Foot Massage:
Though the title implies
only feet are tended to, in actuality legs, lower thighs, hands and forearms
also receive attention during a traditional Thai foot massage. After cleansing,
the feet are anointed with a skin lotion or oil and a variety of hands-on
techniques including graceful two handed palm movements, stretches, circular
massage movements and thumb pressure are used, along with the use of a
special Thai stick made out of teak for specific acupressure to stimulate
organ reflex points on the soles of the feet. Clients leave the session
feeling relaxed, balanced and invigorated.
